ABOUT
Blue Bell Senior Residence is a senior living community that will allow residents to live independently and with an enhanced quality of life. The proposed development will include 56 affordable units located in Whitpain Township, providing much-needed residential living adjacent to amenities that perfectly blends with the community’s commercial and residential districts.
The proposed senior community would provide Blue Bell with affordable housing and services to meet the needs of its aging population, allowing residents to age in place. The two-story design maintains a minimal height and size with respect to the surrounding homes and businesses, providing maximum green space on the three-acre lot.

Aug. 2, 2023: Federation Housing met with Blue Bell neighbors at the Wissahickon Valley Public Library to discuss the proposed development plan and answer any questions. Residents enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the senior living community and how they will remain updated through the project.
LOCAL PARTNER
Federation Housing, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, provides much-needed affordable housing communities and services that empower low-and-moderate-income seniors to live independently and with an enhanced quality of life. The nonprofit organization developed, built and manages 12 senior-living communities across our region.
Along with providing high-quality residential living, Federation Housing provides many programs and services for its residents including social services, free van transportation, meal programs, housekeeping services, religious activities, socialization services, recreational activities and many others.
